Honey Thalijeh, born on November 7, 1984, in Bethlehem, Palestine, is a prominent figure in Palestinian football. Known for her exceptional skills and dedication to the sport, Thalijeh has become a symbol of hope and inspiration for aspiring athletes in the region.
She is the co-founder of women’s football in Palestine, the first captain of the Palestinian national team, and the first Arab woman to obtain a FIFA Master and work at FIFA. She hopes a time will come when women will have the same opportunities as men in football.
Off the field, Honey Thalijeh is a vocal advocate for women’s rights and gender equality. She uses her platform to raise awareness about the importance of empowering women through sports. Thalijeh firmly believes that football can be a powerful tool for social change, breaking down stereotypes, and promoting inclusivity.
